Dr Ossola was given a Graduate Program Advising and Mentoring Award by UCD Graduate Studies due to "excellent service to the graduate program, as well as the positive impacts on graduate students and colleagues".

Dr Pooja Singh joined the Urban Science Lab in August to lead research funded by FFAR on the effects of climate change on urban tree crops across the US.

Congrats to Katie, Sarah and Mia who graduated with a MSc in Environmental Science and Policy at UC Davis. A great new crop of future environmental leaders!

Alessandro received a Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research New Innovator Award to conduct innovative research to help community farmers across the US plant #climate-ready #tree 

Dr Ossola was interview live during KCBS evening news on how to address issues related to downed trees during storms and atmospheric rivers.

The Urban Science Lab in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California Davis is recruiting a 2+ year postdoctoral researcher in the areas of urban forestry, agroecology and climate change science.
